It’s completely separate from your computer - everything is handled by the camera or cameras and our Yellow Video service.
The IVA (Internet Video Alarm) camera isn’t just a standard camera though – it has plenty of high-tech wizardry inside it. The camera detects any motion within its field of vision - if something moves, the camera notices, and automatically uploads the video footage of the detected motion to our servers (similar to online version of a video recorder or DVR). Simultaneously it sends you an alert, either by email with a picture or text message, to let you know.
Viewing your footage is just as easy, simply log into your password protected secure personal account, your footage is stored by day and time, so reviewing old footage is a piece of cake, and it can be downloaded for you to keep,
If you don’t have an internet cable near where you want to place the camera that’s no problem, you can use our IVA HomePlugs to transit the images via your electrical circuits to your internet connection.
